Steampunk Boot Gift Tag (Pazzles)

Ok, I found this really cute Steampunk boot online some place and thought I would try to mimick the design.  I created the gift tag in my Pazzle software and cut it out on the Pazzles die-cut machine.

I cut this image out twice so that I could have the contrast pieces.  I used The Paper Studio Simple Elegance paper for the contrast pieces.  I added some of my gold rope ribbon that I normally use for Christmas.  The metal hot air balloon I purchased online.  I know for sure I got the hot air balloon from B'Sue Boutiques.  I think I got the cog wheel from a Tim Holtz collection.

Here's a link to Brenda Sue's Etsy Shop.  This isn't the same hot air balloon I have, but it's cute anyway.

Hope you like it.  I love making custom gift tags!

Paris Handbag (Pazzles)

Here's a little gift tag Pazzles die-cut handbag I created in my software.

I used black paper as the base and cut the base again on the Once Upon A Time paper collection so I can make the little embellishments.  I heat embossed the embellishments for some shine.  I added rhinestuds on this too, with my i-rock tool.

I cut the belt from some Once Upon A Time paper scraps and cut a strip of red paper for a belt loop.

I am really enjoying making these tags!  :-)

Handbag Inspired by Marc Jacobs Handbags (Pazzles die-cut)

Here is another little gift tag I made in my Pazzles software and cut out using my Pazzles Inspiration machine.

The belt loop is covered with gold pigment ink and heat embossed.  The pockets are glued on and I did a little faux stitching.  The metal pieces are from some locks I had left over from some boxes I made last year.

Of course I was looking for handbags again on google to get some inspiration and found this bag by Marc Jacobs, which was my inspiration for this die-cut tag.

I will make another one and add some flaps over the pocket.  :-)  Just noticed I didn't do that.  :-)

Handbag and Boot Die Cuts (Pazzles)

Hey folks

I was just googling to try to find some more things to alter or get some inspiration from.  I typed in handbags and saw some really nice bags, so I thought I would try to make some little gift tags.  I also found another boot style I like, so I added this one too.  The good thing about making these die-cuts is that I can resize them to make greeting cards to match the gift tags.  I have been having a lot better luck with my Pazzles machine lately.  :-)

For both gift tags I cut them out twice so I could have the black edges.  On the bag I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen.  Added some rhinestuds too (I am a rhinestud addict these days! :-) ).

I cut my name out to add to the handbag as well - that's the only piece that is heat embossed.

I used one sheet from the Once Upon A Time collection (I think it's from DCWV).  Love that paper!  :-)

Hope you like them.

Decorated Wooden Cabinet

Hey there

I found these little wooden cabinets in my stash.  I think I bought these about 1 1/2 yrs ago while looking at some discounted stuff at Michael's.

I was making mini albums, but they are really time consuming, so I thought I would take a little break and do something different.  Also, someone asked me recently to re-upholster an old antique chair for them so I got the mojo to do a little refinishing on a smaller scale until the big project begins.

Here are some photos of how this project came out:

The fluer di li trim is what I made using my Pazzles Inspiration machine and software.  I had initially made this trim to use as a book binding for the Travel Mini Album I recently made.  I had a few left over, sitting on my table, and thought this trim would look nice on this wooden cabinet.

I used chaulk ink to chalk the trim edges and added some rhinestuds with my i-rock heat tool.  The base paint is Heritage Brick Red.  The base paper is a piece of paper from my 7Gypsies stack.  After all the trimmings I coated it with Glossy Mod Podge.

Hope you like it.  :-)

So, if you want this album, gotta get it fast because it is one of a kind ($65 includes shipping in USA).

Take care and happy travels.

Valentine's Day Cards

Hi all

Valentine’s Day is coming up soon!

I have some Valentine’s greeting cards for sale and would be willing to mail them for you (so long as the recipient is in the USA).  The card price is $6.50, but that includes shipping cost.

If you have a sentiment you would like inside the card, just tell me what it is while in the payment process (there will be a box for comments). Also, add your name for a signature and the recipients address. You can have up to 25 words inside the card. Each card will have a white sheet of paper inside for the sentiment, which will be attached to the card and have a border to match the card. All card sizes are approximate and colors are a bit different than what you see on your computer screen.

I will type your sentiment and your name, but if you want me to handwrite everything, let me know.

All cards will have a white envelope, but the cards will have to be mailed in a bubble wrap envelope because of the design of the cards (increased postage).

Below are the cards for sale:  Card Sizes Are Approximate

Denim Earrings

Hey Folks

I just finished making some denim earrings using an old denim shirt of mine.  I found this cute image by Bea Kraus and thought the image would be great for me to use for personal use.

I used glitter glue to outline the image and sewed the edges with embroidery thread.  The inside is cardboard to make them a bit more sturdy.

Valentine's Day 2012 Collection 1 (Pazzles Cut File)

Ok, here is the Valentine's Day 2012 Collection 1.  I created these from scratch, no alterations of other files I found online!  My confidence to make my own has indeed grown.  :-)

Here are the photos of what is in this new collection:

If you would like to purchase this file, it is $8.

Collection 2
You can use the die-cuts in your projects, even if you sell the projects, but please don't share the file itself.

None of my files are instant downloads.  Once I receive payment, I will email the .wpc file to you.

Don't forget to email me a photo or link to your projects.  We would love to see your creations.  :-)
